Cormac specialises in the area of Commercial and Residential Property Transactions, Banking Law and Wills and Probate.

Experience

Cormac has considerable experience advising on all aspects of Residential and Commercial Property Transactions including Commercial Leases and resolving Landlord and Tennant disputes. He has been involved in advising both Lenders and Borrowers and all aspects of Irish Banking Law with particular reference to Property Finance, Acquisition Finance, Project and Construction Finance and General Corporate Finance. 

He has experience in drafting and negotiating Commercial Loan Agreements, Guarantees, Security Documents and Legal Opinions and advising on all issues arising under Irish Company Law as well as negotiating complex Commercial Contracts.

Cormac has advised many private clients on their future estate planning and is experienced in the areas of wills drafting and extracting grants of probate as well as intestate estates.

Career History

Cormac qualified as a Solicitor in 2006 after completing his Traineeship with Kent Carty Solicitors.  Cormac spent 3 years working in the Banking and Financial Services Group of Matheson and has also worked as part of the in-house legal team in one of one of the country’s leading financial institutions.
